Diploma in Spa Massage Therapies
Massage remains an ever popular spa treatment due to its many benefits. This course covers the main leading types of massage offered in spas to both men and women, practical skills in consultation and delivery, plus the relevant anatomy and physiology. It is a professional course designed for those who wish to practice professionally and charge clients with insurance and membership from the biggest professional therapist body in the UK, The Guild of Therapists, who have accredited the course and provide online theoretical support through training modules and assessments.
This course is taught by experienced therapist Steve and covers these three core spa massage therapies:
The theory works to the Guild's gold standards of training, delivered and examined online with all the required resources available and online tutorial support when you need it. A Diploma is awarded in a Spa Massage Therapies (Swedish Body Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Indian Head Massage), allowing you to practice professionally on clients with insurance.
It takes approximately 75 hours total study time. There are 3 online courses with module examinations and 3 practical training courses with assessments.
Practical training and assessment is included in the price of the qualification, although additional customised practical training can be purchased with Steve if required.
