Professional Indian Head Massage Training
A qualified Indian Head Massage treatment is a fantastic way to help your clients relax, improve circulation, reduce headaches and make the mind and body feel lighter.
This Guild Training International (GTi) course is taught by experienced therapist Steve, who has PTLLS Level 4 teaching qualification. The course includes certification to practice through accreditation and insurance provided by the Guild Of Beauty Therapists awarding body. Guild student insurance is included for the duration of the course, plus a discounted price on Guild membership is available through al Covo on completion.
The theory is delivered and examined online with all the required resources available and online tutorial support when you need it.
The course covers the technique for upper back, shoulder, upper arm, neck, scalp and face massage. It also includes the theory behind Indian Head Massage such as the history of the treatment, principles of ayurveda, marma points and chakras. It follows HABIA's National Occupational Standards and covers all the necessary anatomy and physiology, plus reception, consultation, contra-indications and aftercare guidance.
The course includes the GTi Professional Standards course for students who have not previously completed this course.
Overview
Title: Indian Head Massage Course (Online and Practical Course)
Summary: This course covers the technique for upper back, shoulder, upper arm, neck, scalp and face massage. It also includes the theory behind Indian Head Massage such as the history of the treatment, principles of ayurveda, marma points and chakras. We include resources with clear diagrams and voice over. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. Photographs and videos ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform Indian Head Massage.
Qualification: GTi Award. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate in Indian Head Massage and a discount on Guild membership is available through al Covo.

Theory Hours: 17 hours (This is completed at your own pace).
Practical Hours: 6 hours*.
Examination: GTi Online Examinations and Practical Examination at al Covo.
